Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use CamRoam: Live Map & GPS (the "App"). The App is provided by HONG KONG WANHONG INTERNATIONAL LIMITED ("we," "us," or "our").

By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Privacy Summary

The current version of the App:

- does not require you to create an account;

- processes precise location, camera images, saved photos, favorites, and landmark passport activity only as described below;

- includes advertising, analytics, and attribution technologies, including Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and the Meta/Facebook SDK;

- may collect or transmit limited device, app, advertising, product-interaction, and diagnostic data to us or our service providers;

- may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency ("ATT") framework before accessing the advertising identifier or engaging in tracking as defined by Apple; and

- uses Apple system services and an embedded YouTube player, which may independently process information under their own privacy policies.

2. Information Handled by the App

2.1 Location and Motion Information

With your permission, the App may access your location while you are using relevant features. Location and related device information may be used to:

- show nearby live views;

- display your position and traffic information on a map;

- provide compass direction, coordinates, altitude, and location accuracy;

- obtain an address for the GPS Map Camera feature; and

- calculate distance or direction on your device.

The App uses this information to provide the feature you requested. We do not operate a product server that receives or stores your precise device location. Apple system services may process map, geocoding, traffic, Look Around, and location-related requests according to Apple's own terms and privacy practices. Advertising and online services may infer an approximate location from an IP address, but we do not provide your Core Location coordinates to advertising partners for advertising or tracking.

2.2 Camera and Photos

If you use GPS Map Camera, the App may access the camera after you grant permission. The App processes the photo and selected location details on your device to create the result you request. It saves a result to your Photos library only after you choose to save it and grant the required permission.

We do not operate a product server that uploads or stores your photos. A generated photo may visibly contain information such as an address, date and time, coordinates, altitude, or a map preview. Review this information before sharing the photo with others. Photos saved to your Photos library remain under your control and must be deleted through the Photos app if you no longer want them.

2.3 Information Stored on Your Device

The App may store the following information locally on your device:

- onboarding completion status;

- favorite landmarks;

- landmark passport stamps; and

- other settings needed to maintain your in-app experience.

This local information is not sent to a CamRoam product backend for advertising or tracking. You can remove it by deleting the App, subject to normal iOS backup and restore behavior. Deleting the App does not automatically delete photos that you previously saved to your Photos library.

2.4 Product Interaction, Advertising, and Diagnostic Data

The App and its service providers may process information about how the App and advertisements are used, including:

- app launches, page views, taps, feature usage, video playback events, and other product interactions;

- ad requests, ad availability, impressions, clicks, formats, placements, revenue, and related advertising events;

- app version, device and operating-system information, language, network information, and approximate location inferred from an IP address;

- device or app identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) only when access is permitted; and

- crash, performance, error, and other diagnostic information.

We use this information to operate the App, display and measure advertisements, understand feature performance, perform analytics and attribution, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose problems, and improve reliability. The exact information processed can depend on your device settings, permission choices, region, SDK configuration, and the advertising or measurement services available to the App.

The App's internal product identifier is not intended to replace or bypass Apple's restrictions on access to the IDFA.

2.5 Support Communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any attachments. We use this information to respond to your request, provide support, investigate issues, protect the App, and comply with legal obligations.

Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your support request.

3. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services to provide features, advertisements, analytics, attribution, and technical support. These services may receive information directly from your device and process it under their own terms and privacy policies.

3.1 Apple Services

The App may use Apple technologies such as MapKit, Look Around, Core Location, geocoding, traffic information, camera access, Photos, App Tracking Transparency, and SKAdNetwork. Apple's processing of information is governed by its own terms and privacy policy:

- Apple Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

3.2 YouTube

The App uses the official YouTube embedded player to display publicly available live video content. When the player or related YouTube content loads, Google and YouTube may receive information such as your IP address, device and browser information, app or page context, identifiers, and interactions with the player. Additional information may be processed when you choose to play a video. This processing is controlled by Google and YouTube, not by CamRoam.

The App does not require you to sign in to YouTube and does not request access to your YouTube account. The App does not send your Core Location coordinates to YouTube. However, Google may infer an approximate location from information such as your IP address under its own policies.

- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

- YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms

3.3 Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

The App uses Google Mobile Ads to request, display, and measure advertisements. Google and advertising partners participating through Google's services may process information such as IP address, approximate location, device and app information, device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, and diagnostic or performance data. This information may be used to deliver ads, measure advertising performance, perform analytics, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

- Google Ads controls: https://adssettings.google.com/

3.4 Meta/Facebook SDK

The App uses the Meta/Facebook SDK for app events, analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, and campaign optimization. Meta may receive device and app information, permitted identifiers, product-interaction events, and advertising-value or related event data. Meta processes this information under its own terms and privacy policy.

For more information, review:

- Meta Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/

- Meta ad preferences: https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/

4. How We Use Information

We use information that you provide, authorize, or that is processed as described above only as reasonably necessary to:

- provide the App features you request;

- remember settings and progress on your device;

- display, personalize where permitted, and measure third-party advertising;

- perform analytics, attribution, campaign measurement, and advertising-value reporting;

- respond to support and privacy requests;

- detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical failures;

- maintain and improve the safety, integrity, performance, and reliability of the App;

- comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service; and

- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not use or provide your precise Core Location coordinates, camera images, saved photos, favorite landmarks, or landmark passport activity for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Tracking and App Tracking Transparency

Apple defines tracking as linking data collected from the App about a user or device with data from other companies' apps, websites, or offline properties for targeted advertising or advertising measurement, or sharing such data with a data broker.

Where our advertising or attribution configuration involves tracking as defined by Apple, the App will request your permission through the ATT framework before accessing the IDFA or engaging in that tracking. You may allow or deny the request. If you deny permission, we will not access the IDFA or authorize Apple-defined cross-app tracking through the App. Features unrelated to tracking will remain available, although advertisements may be less personalized and some attribution or measurement may be limited.

We configure our SDKs and services to respect your ATT choice. ATT permission is separate from other consent or privacy choices that may be presented where required by applicable law.

6. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information for money. Depending on the law where you live, disclosure of identifiers or activity data to advertising partners for targeted advertising or measurement may be considered "sharing," "sale," or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged.

Information may be processed or disclosed in the following circumstances:

- At your direction: for example, when you choose to load a YouTube video, open a location in Apple Maps, save a photo, or send us an email.

- Service providers: companies that provide hosting, analytics, attribution, advertising, fraud prevention, diagnostics, or support services on our behalf.

- Advertising and measurement partners: Google, Meta, and their authorized partners as described above, subject to your permissions and applicable privacy choices.

- Legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests; protect rights, safety, and security; investigate abuse; or enforce applicable agreements.

- Business changes: if responsibility for the App is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate privacy protections.

7. Retention and Deletion

- On-device App data remains on your device until you remove it, reset the relevant App data, or delete the App, subject to iOS backup and restore behavior.

- Saved photos remain in your Photos library until you delete them.

- Product-interaction, advertising, attribution, and diagnostic data is retained by us or our service providers only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to their retention policies and applicable law.

- Support emails are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, keep appropriate support records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You may request deletion as described below, although some records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

- Third-party data is retained by Apple, Google, YouTube, Meta, or other authorized service providers according to their own policies and your account, consent, or device settings.

8. Your Choices and Controls

You can:

- deny or revoke location, camera, and Photos permissions in iOS Settings;

- allow or deny tracking through the ATT prompt and later change the App's tracking permission in iOS Settings, where available;

- use consent or privacy-choice controls presented in the App or by an advertising service, where available;

- manage Google and YouTube activity, privacy, and advertising controls through your Google account and device settings;

- manage Meta advertising preferences through Meta's services;

- use available features without granting permissions that are not required for those features;

- delete locally stored App data by deleting the App;

- delete generated photos through the Photos app; and

- contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy choices for information that we control.

Revoking a permission may limit the features or advertising measurement that depend on it, but it will not prevent you from using unrelated features.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed specifically to children under 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through a CamRoam account. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

Third-party services accessible through the App have their own privacy practices and age requirements. Parents and guardians should supervise a child's use of online video, location-related features, and advertising-supported services.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. However, no device, email service, SDK, internet transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and reviewing location information before sharing generated photos.

11. International Processing

Apple, Google, YouTube, Meta, advertising and analytics providers, and email service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and applicable legal safeguards.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information that we control, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and opt out of certain sharing, sale, targeted advertising, or profiling. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.

Because the App does not provide accounts, we may not be able to associate all SDK or advertising data with you based only on an email request. To submit a request, email us using the contact information below. We may need to verify your request and obtain limited information needed to locate the relevant record before acting on it.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, data practices, or legal requirements. We will update the "Last Updated" date when we make changes. If a future version introduces materially different data practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures before those practices are introduced and obtain consent where required.
